Wenzhi has drafted more than 100 patent applications and numerous amendments and responses to office actions. Wenzhi has used the combination of his technical background and expertise in patent prosecution to help clients obtain patents. Wenzhi has more than half-a-decade experience in the patent field, initially as a technical specialist and then as a patent agent. Wenzhi has extensive experience in helping a wide variety of clients including small entities and Fortune 500 companies with patent application and prosecution tasks.

Wenzhi has prior work experience in both boutique law firm and Biglaw firm. After working as a patent agent for an AmLaw 100 global law firm, Wenzhi founded PATENT VITAL, LLC to provide clients with high-quality patent services with transparent and reasonable fees.

Wenzhi has a broad background in science and technology. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Physics from Ohio University. He has further enriched his technical background with postdoctoral work experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Michigan State University.

Wenzhi has comprehensive knowledge in topics including semiconductor physics and applications, light-emitting diodes, nanotechnology, low-dimensional materials, thin film deposition, epitaxy development, material characterization, and equipment design & development.

Wenzhi has expertise in material science, semiconductor growth and characterization, and instrument design & development. He has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals.
